Virtually There is a one-man show that explores what it means to be truly present. Using Spoken Word, clowning and a thing I call ‘acting’, the show is a darkly coming deep dive into the world of Virtual Reality. It was inspired by the impact of lockdown in 2020 and how it changed the way we interact with eachother.
From a starting point of the global product launch of a state-of-the-art VR system, the play spirals downwards into a questioning of the personas we try to project. This can only be resolved through confronting and accepting ourselves. Within that, there is a good deal of silliness and, I hope, a few nice lines that will stay with you.
